MiniRoos Certificate Course – Ballina 30/04/2018

To all MiniRoos Coaches

There is a MiniRoos Certificate training (FREE) to be held at Saunders oval on Monday 30 April. Our coaching co-ordinator Wendy Britton is running the course. You will gets some hands on training in how to run coaching sessions with your team and get a chance to discuss all things MiniRoo coaching with Wendy.

STEP 1 – Register as a coach

Football Far North Coast has some really good resources for coaches on their website. There is a link to the 2018 Handbook, the MiniRoo Carnival days around the countryside (including ours coming up on Sunday 24^th June) and other interesting information.

Click on the Register to Coach button and you will be sent to the Play Football website where coaches, players and volunteers can register. All our coaches are required to register for the upcoming season but it’s critical to be registered so that you can apply for the course.

If you are also a registered player for the year, you also need to register as a coach. If you registered as a coach last year, yes, you have to do it again this year.

If you haven’t registered as a coach or player before, you will need to “Click here to create a FFA account” first and create your profile before you can login to register as a coach. Remember we are the ‘Ballina Soccer Club’. Don’t be confused with the ‘Tintenbar/East Ballina’ club which sometimes appears first in the club selection when choosing your package. Make sure you note your FFA number down and your new password as you are going to need these over the year.

STEP 2 – Register for the course

Now you are registered as a coach, you have to register in the particular course that you want to do. You can look at all courses available and select the course that you want to do from the Football Far North Coast coaches website, or you can click on the link below. Sometimes you have to hold the CTRL button on your keyboard and then click on the link below. You will need your FFA number that you created earlier as all courses that you do are connected to your FFA number even in future soccer years.
