Grade 13 travelled to South Lismore this weekend some days it feels like the crossbar just isn’t set high enough, and we had one of those days.  Souths have a strong forward combination which at first was cutting through our defence, putting them up 1-0 at the break.  The backs rallied well and closer marking meant Lismore had little opportunity in the second half.  Playing with no subs the team pushed hard and created numerous opportunities in front of goal, halves and forwards linked up well but that crossbar just seemed too low, three shots on target but over they went.  Another solid performance by our keeper and well done team for playing the whole sixty minutes, final score 1-0 to Souths.
