Juniors update

Weather permitting Tuesday’s MiniRoo muster day for u8s / 9s/10s / and 11s will be held from 4.15pm at Saunders Oval . Gear allocation to coaches for the upcoming season will also be provided and socks and shorts will be available for purchase .
We will then be endeavouring to have all our competition teams having a game against each other in their respective age groups from 4.30pm on Thursday.
The club has submitted the nominations for the season start on the 25th July and the following teams in age groups are provided:
U5/6s – 5 teams,   U7s – 4 teams
U8s – 4 teams,   U9s – 2 teams
U10s – 2 teams,   U11s – 3 teams
U12s – 2 teams,   U13s – 2 teams
U14s – 1 team,   U15s – 1 team
U12s girls – 1 team and U14s girls – 1 team.
The club will also have 4 men’s and 2 ladies teams.

I take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support in playing in this years season in uncertain times and trust you all enjoy the remaining weeks .
While every endeavour will be made to place players in requested teams the whole year is about participation and enjoyment and a perfect chance to make new friends in a community sport . The main idea is to encourage playing and we will be trying not to put too many players on each team so everyone gets a chance to play . Of course we are open to change in some circumstances and happy to discuss.
At this point in time registrations in all ages for both new and returning players are still possible by contacting the club. If any are received we will then allocate players to teams if required.
The club has also now received correspondence for the COVIDSafe plan required to enable participation . Over the upcoming days procedures will be set in place for the season and advised accordingly . This will be a joint effort from all involved from coaches, parents and players so any assistance would obviously be greatly appreciated to ensure that the club provides the safe environment required.
Updates for training times and field positioning will follow in due course together with game day draws.
