Due to the time taken in preparing for and participating in the carnival yesterday, the executive have decided to postpone tonight’s meeting until Monday 23rd June, 2008.
The meeting will be held at the Ballina RSL Club from 6.30pm.
The Ballina Soccer Club Junior Carnival is still on this Sunday, promising to be lots of fun for the kids who have not had much soccer lately due to the wet weather. The carnival page has now been updated to provide the lists of draws and rules for the different age groups. Please make sure you take a look to see where you need to be Sunday Morning.
Please note that all forms and monies need to be handed in by 9.00am. Kim and other volunteers will be in the canteen to collect copies of nomination forms. All fields will be clearly marked out for your convenience.
There have been some minor changes due to a lack of teams. We have ensured that there are plenty of tournament matches to be played and lots of fun to be had.
Coaches have a responsibility to referee some games. Please highlight your teams games and your refereeing duties.

Full canteen service will be available on the day.
Thank you all and see you on Sunday!
Currently, all games set down for this weekend at Saunders Oval have been cancelled.
Please check the Football Far North Coast Website, or listen to 900 2LM or ZZZ for the most up to date information on transfers.
If you have further info, please post it here.
Tonight’s meeting will be held at the Ballina RSL Club - Room 1 from 6.30pm Sharp. Attached are previous minutes and the agenda for tonight’s meeting. Please see the Committee Page for Agenda.

See you all tonight!
As part of the Volunteers Incentive Program, Dreamworld has donated a family pass for the person who helps out the most in the canteen. Put in the most amount of time and get the free tickets. Ask at the canteen for more details.
FFNC Representative Games are being held in Ballina - 6th and 13th April, 2008. This is a great opportunity for the club to make some money in the canteen, and attract people to the grounds.
The event needs to run smoothly, so helpers are needed.
Go to the Ballina Soccer Club Positions Page and get more details.

Have you ever really wanted to play soccer, but couldn’t because you didn’t have a coach? What would you do - leave the club, or just give up playing?
Well, we could be about to find out what happens, as Ballina Soccer Club is short of coaches for the 2008 season.
Here is an excerpt from the parent of a registered child:
Just conveying our disappointment at our sign on the other night. No coach for a 3rd year in a row. The boys were disheartened and are all talking about changing codes.. loss of talent!! Many parents are happy to be involved on the ground at the games but very few of us feel that our skills and knowledge extend to a coaching session. We were hoping that there may be a youth/young adult player from a higher division who may be able to fill the shoes and coach one hour a week- with no onus to come to the actual games. I am sure there would be some young men willing to put back into the club after years of benefit from the club. We really hope to hear from you as the boys are keen.
Can you spare a few hours a week to possibly help coach the next Harry Kewell? Become the hero of many appreciative kids and parents and help these kids find out what Ballina Soccer Club is all about.
If you are interested contact us or contact Tony Dunn directly on 6686 9687.
Ask not what your club can do for you but what you can do for your club.
Just a reminder that there is NO MEETING TONIGHT. The soccer meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month. The Feb meeting was brought forward a week due to the sign on day.
The next meeting will be held at 6.30pm Ballina RSL Club - Room # 1- upstairs.
Minutes and agenda items will be sent later this week
