After a great season winning the rights to promotion by claiming the Minor Premiership our League 2 Women’s team unfortunately lost to Ocean Shores in their Grand Final last Sunday. Ballina Soccer Club is extremely proud of coach Wendy Britton for taking our Women’s team to the next level.
Our League 5 Women took on Nimbin in the Grand Final and came agonisingly close to taking out both Minor and Major titles but after it finished 1-1 at the extra time whistle they lost out in the penalty shoot out. Ballina Soccer Club is incredibly proud of our ladies who not only showed they have what it takes to win the comp but are always the first team to throw up their hand to help with the club.
