The Get Active Expo and Sports Sign On is a new initiative from Ballina Shire Council and will be held at the Alstonville Leisure and Entertainment Centre on Saturday 2 February 2019 from 10.30am – 2.30pm.
This new expo has been created to connect adults and children to sport and activity providers in a fun and interactive environment and it’s free to enter.
Ballina Soccer Club will be one of the many exhibitors at the expo.
The theme for the inaugural event is “Anyone Can Play” and will welcome event ambassador, Benny Roche, the Australian Pararoos Vice Captain. Ben’s passion is, “to ensure everyone gets a fair go” and he works tirelessly with organisations throughout Australia to make this happen.

There will also be information available on the NSW Government’s ‘Active Kids Vouchers’ that provide families $100 to use for sports registration fees. To learn more click here.
